NEEDS FOR SLUMS & HEALTH CAMPS
The health challenges of people living in urban slum communities are quite different from those who live in rural areas. LAALANA FOUNDATION insights that healthy world is a better and promising world to live. People inhabiting in slums and BPL areas are either not aware or do not give importance to health and hygiene. LAALANA organizes free of cost workshops and health camps for them to spread awareness about health and hygiene. They are being taught that by remaining healthy they can control their lives and have realistic expectations about their day-to-day challenges. LAALANA provides medicines, sanitary pads for women and nutrition food for children all over the slums in Hyderabad area. LAALANA provides, free of cost medical help to children and women of Slums in Hyderabad. As a renowned NGO, we try to tackle the problem related to health issues. Maintaining good health is very important for leading a healthy life. We camp at several locations in Hyderabad and surrounding Cities. Volunteers organize free medical checkups at certain intervals of time.
